His academic achievement comes after successfully submitting his thesis, focused on a critical review of base camp city stakeholder management during a mega-sporting event. Upon receiving his accolade, Dr Faul delivered the commencement address on behalf of the doctorate graduates.
“After years of hard work, I am pleased to have finally received my doctorate. It was an honour and a privilege to address the graduates at the North-West University," expressed Dr Faul.
“There is ever-growing importance on stakeholder relationship management, not only in the cricket industry, but across all industries, and by obtaining this doctorate, my aim is to make a valuable contribution towards stakeholder management across various business models.”
NCU President, John Wright, said: “On behalf of Northerns Cricket Union, I would like to congratulate Jacques on achieving his doctorate. It is a remarkable achievement, and one which he and his family should be very proud of.”
“He is a leader in his field as a CEO, not only in the sporting arena but to many CEOs in the business world. The contribution that he has made since joining the Union in 2013, has been astronomical.
“Jacques has led the Union to being market leaders in many fields. His leadership, drive and new initiatives are all contributing factors that have seen both Northerns and Titans realise the accolades that they have achieved."
