Patricia Kambarami, Chief Operating Officer, has continued from Northerns Cricket Union to pursue a role as Development Manager of Africa at the International Cricket Council.
Kambarami joined Northerns Cricket Union in 2003 as the marketing and events manager and progressed to her role as COO in June 2014 during which time Northerns Cricket Union became the number one affiliate for two consecutive years, along with SuperSport Park being named Family Stadium of the Year in the 2014/15 season.
In the same year, Kambarami was awarded gsport Woman of the Year in recognition for her contributions to sports administration, including pioneering the Momentum eKasi Challenge; a tournament aimed at bringing franchise cricket to the townships.
Kambarami was recently honoured as a recipient of the Friends of Titans Award. The award was presented during the lunch interval of the Momentum One Day Cup fixture against the BuildNat Cape Cobras.
“Patricia must be very proud of what she has achieved during her time here,” said Jacques Faul, Chief Executive Officer of Northerns Cricket Union and the Titans franchise.
“Her passion for the Titans reflected in her work ethic and dedication to the brand. I’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside Patricia for a number of years and her positive influence and warm personality will be missed.”
Faul added: “Patricia spearheaded the Be Legendary Be Titans campaign and she definitely is a legend in her own right.”
"We wish Patricia all the best for the future as she embarks on her new role with the ICC and we would like to thank her for the wonderful work she has done here over the years.”
